The first frame of this became Let the World Go About its Changes. But I could see the clouds moving in a beautiful diagonal way and thus put on a dense 10-Stop neutral density filter to slow the exposure down to 5 minutes.
Time is an expression of measurement, an indefinite march forward with a past and future. But what I’m referring to in this print is not time as progression but time as tranquility. Being in a state of calm, void of thought or purpose, just existing in stillness.
I try not to keep two similar prints in my portfolio, but I feel these both tell a different story and I quite like each for very different reasons.
