Sometimes just experimenting produces interesting results. The light wasn’t the best but I wanted to shoot anyway. I stood on a small rise just above tideline and did a series of long exposures. The result is a color palette of abstraction, almost like a watercolor. I haven’t done this much, if at all, since that day but I never forgot the power of letting go and shooting when the conditions don’t meet your ideal.
