The Wave is one of those desert locations. Countless images have been taken here and if you’re on social media then you’ve no doubt seen the ubiquitous image of a women looking away wearing a light tan brimmed hat. Even I have a stock image of my wife sitting and looking away, sans-hat though, she doesn’t go in for such things. Silliness aside the colors in this area are astounding. Red below, blue above. All other color is stripped away. I wanted the image to be about this color, not the popular geographic oddity.

It’s a sublime environment and thankfully access is limited each day to reduce damage because it is also a delicate environment. So if you come, tread softly and sit awhile to soak in the color.
