Perspective is a tricky thing to get across in a landscape image. I’m not talking about a technical perspective from a lens choice and the angle of view it presents. I’m talking about a metaphorical perspective. That isn’t up to the artist to dictate. I walked behind this waterfall to photograph the ribbon of cascading water. It’s a rare experience. It feels like a bit of mystery is both revealed and also deepened. What exists behind a veil, the wizard pulling the strings or rock just being slowly etched away. That’s up to you to decide.
